WiFi internet access is available throughout the building for lap top, pad, and smartphone users, along with multiple outlet spots across the library!
The New London Public Library is a member of the SEO (Serving Every Ohioan) Consortium made up of 92 library systems from around the state. Your New London library card can be used at any of the member libraries and you can borrow items through our online library catalog. We receive inter-library loan deliveries two days per week.
New London Library offers a wide variety of childrens and adult programs including storytimes for kids ages 0-6, and a separate storytime for kids in grades 3 through 7, Teen Club, For the Love of Books Book Club, Adult Cookbook Club, Line Dance, Movie Kits, and lots of weekly programming!
Our meeting room is available to not-for-profit groups by reservation. It is equiped with WiFi, TV, DVD player and a multimedia projector with screen are available. It has a capacity of 25 without tables. The room also houses our Local History and Genealogy Collection.
We have special subject-oriented sets of books and educational toys for preschool through elementary ages. Our Book Bags To Go program is popular with teachers and homeschoolers. For a complete list of available subjects, stop by our children's circulation desk.
Our Disc Repair Service can clean and remove scratches from a wide variety of media disks; including DVD, CD-ROM, game disks and other formats.
An assortment of Ellison dies and two Ellison Machines are available for cutting letters, numbers and objects from card stock or construction paper. These dies are perfect for scrapbooking, classroom bulletin boards, parties, signs and crafts! The dies are available for public use. Bring your own card stock or other paper and staff will show you our die collection. A free substitute for those expensive Cri-Cut machines!
